This week we released updates for most of our Android products (codecs included). Here are the changelogs:

TVC v.2.3.0.118 "Nova":
- adding FLV, M4A and VOB formats support;
- from now on output filename cannot be equal to input filename;
- improving tip #1 with general working instructions with pics;
- improving 441dp layouts, both portrait and landscape;
- adding some warnings on Android 4.4 "Kitkat" about SD/MicroSD devices errors;
- layout improved for 4 specific screen resolutions;
- now using a fork of aFileChooser with "GO-UP" button;
- video options button is now unselectable is audio format selected;
- fixing a bug that didn't show hidden files in chooser activity;
- fixing a bug while selecting a multimedia from Android Gallery;
- minor fixes and improvements.

MVC v.2.3.1.120
- synchronizing to latest TVC version;
- minor fixes and improvements.

Codecs 2.3 release:
- updating FFmpeg to latest release (2.2.1);
- minor fixes and improvements.

Nice job but still is missing a lot things.

- x264 - the only real and good codec !

- 1 and 2 passes for xvid,  DivX and x264

- quality control in encoder  for 2 passes encoding to obtain exactly size I want.

- more control how codec should encoding video - for example for x264 should be line command to control all parametrs and maybe simpler version for heck or unchecked what I want to use while encoding.

- creating own profiles for encoding.

Hello mirek190, welcome to the forum.
Yeah, the x264 reintroduction is at the forefront of features to be introduced, we are working hard to reinsert as soon as possible. We are also working on a simple command line interface, so that advanced users can insert their options and work also with two pass conversions. Thanks again for your ideas and sorry for the late reply, I'll try to be more present in the forum  ;)
